Properties and benefits of Ghassoul Natural Volcanic Clay
Indicated for all skin types, mainly the most oily, sensitive, and with allergies and psoriasis. It is applied as a facial and body mask, effective in removing dead cells and impurities and with a high detoxifying power. Due to its foaming properties, Ghassoul can be used as a shampoo and for the body in general skin hygiene. It is an organic product without aroma or surfactants. Absorbs excess oil and moisture, leaving hair shiny and full. Ghassoul clay has excellent properties for the natural beauty of hair, and is also very beneficial for facial and body care.
How to apply Ghassoul Natural Volcanic Clay?
It is recommended to place a tablespoon of Ghassoul in a container, fill it with boiling water or herbal infusion, cover it and let it rest for a few minutes. You can add a few drops of argan oil, rosehip or other suitable for sensitive skin always that the skin is not excessively greasy, and adding lemon juice to the paste combats the skin spots. Mix well dissolving the lumps with a wooden spoon until you get a homogeneous mixture. It is applied with a brush across the face avoiding the eye contour. Ghassoul clay is left to work for 15 minutes and removed with lukewarm water. To finish, a cotton soaked in rose water or orange blossom is passed over the face and neck. It is recommended to apply on hair, body and face.
It is important that the Ghassoul paste used is not in contact with any metal utensil, but its properties would be inactivated.
