Properties and benefits of Organic Cocoa Butter
The cocoa butter is of solid consistency up to 32ºC above these we obtain a creamy consistency. Cocoa butter is mainly made up of triglycerides (approx. 94%) with small amounts of diglycerides (approx. 4%) and monoglycerides (<1.3%). The approximate concentration of fatty acids in cocoa butter: 38.1% oleic acid, 35.4% stearic and 24.4% palmitic. Some linoleic acid may be present in about 2%.
How to apply Organic Cocoa Butter?
It is recommended to melt at body temperature leaving the skin soft. It is very suitable for dry and cracked skin, avoiding skin irritation and facilitating its regeneration. It is used as an ingredient in anti-wrinkle creams, lip balms, skin balms, lotions, body creams and in products to reduce the appearance of stretch marks. Its use is also recommended as a reducer in the formation of wrinkles in the eye socket. In the production of natural soaps it is used as a lubricant.
