Description
Beeswax is a yellowish plastic substance secreted by bees, which make them the combs of their hives. It is quite a rare product: to obtain 300 g of wax, bees must produce between 2 and 7.5 kg of honey.
Properties and benefits of Pips Beeswax
This wax is harvested at the end of the season and is obtained without solvent, by centrifugation and separation of the honey by boiling water. Soft to the touch and pleasant smelling, beeswax is unique for its film-forming, moisturizing, protective and antistatic qualities, as well as for its cleaning properties. It is used in the production of many products such as candles, wood products, etc. It liquefies at 64 ° C. Very low carbon number.
How to apply Pips Beeswax?
It is recommended for the maintenance of wood and leather. To do your polishing, cover the beeswax nuggets with turpentine in a closed jar. The next day and two days later, add a little turpentine until you get a smooth liquid. Store polish in an airtight jar and apply with a lint-free cloth in a thin layer. Remove excess after 5 days by vigorously rubbing with a cloth in the direction of the wood grain.
Composition of Pips Beeswax
