Description
The Intracma Organic Pardina Lentils is called pardina because it has a brown skin that does not come off during cooking. It is a suitable legume to be cooked in various stews and soups. The diameter of the duckweed usually ranges between 3.5 and 4.5 mm. Its small size does not require a long soaking period before cooking.
Indication
In northern Spain, some variants of brown lentil are produced due to their brown color, as opposed to green lentil. Pardina, along with verdina and castellana, is one of the three varieties of lentils with the most widespread production in Castilla y León. Pardina lentil is often used in dishes such as lentils with chorizo, sometimes in salads. It is generally soaked for a few minutes, although due to its size they do not require a soaking time for subsequent cooking. This production has a Regulatory Council in charge of guaranteeing the traceability and quality of the Tierra de Campos Lentil.
Intake mode
It is recommended to suit the consumer.
