Description
Millet is a yellowish, round, small-grain cereal that has a light, sweet taste. It is widely used in Africa, especially to make dense breads.
Indication
Millet contains complex carbohydrates, which are slowly absorbed avoiding rapid increases in blood glucose. Its digestion is easy. This cereal is a good option for children, due to its properties and soft and sweet flavor. It can be used to make hamburgers or balls, which are attractive and easy to eat.
Intake mode
It is recommended to wash and drain the cereal before cooking. Sauté without oil until it gives off a slight nutty aroma. Add three parts of water to one of cereal. Cook over a covered heat for 45 minutes. It does not require pre-soaking.
