Description
Millet is a small grain annual cereal. It is believed to be originally from Africa and later entered Asia through India. Currently its use, due to its nutritional properties, has spread to Europe and is gradually being introduced to America.
Indication
It is an important source of energy and protein and has a high nutritional value, compared to the main cereals such as wheat, rice and corn.
It has a high content of calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, zinc, dietary fiber, polyphenols and proteins.
It does not contain gluten, ideal for people who are intolerant to gluten, it is easy to digest.
It is rich in micronutrients such as niacin, B-complex vitamins, vitamin B6, and folic acid.
Contains significant amounts of essential amino acids.
Intake mode
It is recommended by cooking. 1 serving of product for 2 of water. 20 to 25 minutes over low heat. Once cooked it can be used as a garnish, mixed with salads or as an ingredient in smoothies. It can also be cooked at the same time with rice, quinoa, lentils, or any other food whose cooking time does not is less than 15 minutes.
Storage conditions
Store in a cool, dry place, preferably out of sunlight.
