Indication

The term "quinoa" comes from Quechua, a language spoken by the Incas which means "mother of all grains". A sacred plant of the Incas, quinoa has largely contributed to the expansion of this great civilization. Quinoa was and remains one of the rare plants able to survive in the inhospitable environment of the Andean Altiplano. It is still cultivated today on the highlands of Bolivia. In the 1970s, Westerners discovered this grain, whose protein content is remarkable.

Intake mode

It is recommended to consume at breakfast (müeslis,…), as an accompaniment or added in soups, gratins, in the dough to make vegetable pancakes, cakes and breads.
