Description
Porto Muiños kombu seaweed is a product made from kombu food seaweed, harvested by hand in its natural environment, dehydrated at a low temperature, chopped and packaged.
Indication
Its traditional use is mainly to flavor the water that is used as a base in the preparation of dishes such as soups, rice bottoms, cooking legumes, meat and fish stews, cooking seafood, making sauces, etc.
Intake mode
Broth : Cook at the rate of 1 gram of dry kombu per liter of water for at least five minutes. Once cooked, the kombu should be removed. It can also be cooked as an ingredient in stews but is removed at the end.
Hydration : Immerse in water for 20 minutes. Change the water and let it soak for another 20 minutes. Once hydrated, it increases its dry weight 7 times.
Precautions
Product intended only for the preparation of broths and infusions, it should not be consumed dehydrated.
It is recommended not to consume more than one cup of broth or kombu infusion per person per day.
Suitable for the general public, except: infants and young children (1-3 years).
Suitable for vegans and vegetarians.
Storage conditions
Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place. Once opened, store in an airtight container in a dry place and consume before the best before date.
