Algas Nori Bio from Ecolife Food is a seaweed very rich in nutritional properties.
Organic Nori Seaweed has many health properties. It is known for being the seaweed that is used to make the famous Japanese Sushi. Dehydrated Nori Seaweed is small in size, with a reddish or purple coloration that turns blackish when dried, but tends to turn green when cooked or hydrated again.
Thanks to its provitamin A content and its remineralizing effect, it can be indicated for the good growth of hair and nails.
Its content in vitamin B makes it also recommended for skin problems and to strengthen the nervous system. Nori Seaweed contains a large amount of protein (around 35%), calcium, iodine, iron, potassium, magnesium and beta-carotene (provitamin A).
It is recommended to immerse in water with a little salt for 5 minutes. When hydrated, it increases 4 times its dry weight. In addition to being used (in sheets) for Sushi, it is also very practical to take it in the form of flakes since it is not necessary to cook them. It can also be cooked with rice, pasta, salads, soups, etc., with approximately 5 minutes of cooking it will be enough. This seaweed can also be roasted in the oven or pan until it changes color to get other flavors and textures. You can use it as a garnish in your fish dishes, as well as to enhance the flavor of any fish.
People with hypothyroidism or who cannot take iodine should refrain from taking it without first consulting their doctor, although it must be said that it is one of the algae with the lowest content of this mineral.
