Description

Algae Wakame from Clearspring is a delicious, versatile and above all nutritious food. It is a brown seaweed, grown and dried in Japan that turns bright green when soaked.

Indication

Harvested by hand in the clear, mineral-rich waters off the coast of Japan, then washed, then hung on ropes, and allowed to dry slowly in the sun.

Intake mode

It is recommended to wash and immerse in warm water for 10-15 minutes. If desired, remove the stem and cut it into pieces. For soups and stir-fries, add the softened wakame at the end of cooking to preserve its delicate flavor. It is often added to bean cooking for softening purposes and then discarded.
