Metionac

Description

It is a food supplement that has been formulated to help the synthesis of glutathione (GSH), from intermediate metabolites that intervene in the metabolic pathways of liver methylation and transulfurization.

Indication

There are four powerful antioxidants:
S-adenosyl-L-methionine-SAMe:
Donates methyl groups in essential methylation reactions of proteins, lipids, and nucleic acids.

N-acetylcysteine - NAC: Antioxidant and protective action.
It is a precursor of cysteine in the hepatic transulfuration pathway. It donates reducing groups and acts against oxidized free radicals (ROX).

Thioctic Acid - ALA: Stimulates the enzyme gamma glutamylcysteine ligase (GCL) that synthesizes glutathione from cysteine. Mediates the recovery of reduced glutathione from oxidized glutathione. It is a short chain fatty acid that, thanks to its thiol group, neutralizes radicals and recovers glutathione and other antioxidants, such as Q-10, vitamins C and E.

Vitamin B6 - pyridoxine PLP: Water-soluble vitamin that we must replace with the diet daily. It is a cofactor that induces the hepatic transulfuration pathway by activation of the CBS and CGL enzymes, preventing the increase in methionine and contributes to the normal metabolism of homocysteine. Vitamin B6 contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Intake mode

It is recommended to take 2 tablets a day outside of meals.

Do not administer to children under 12 years of age. In case of being treated with antidepressants, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

MetioNac® also contains: S-adenosyl-methionine (SAMe); N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC), Thioctic acid (alpha lipoic acid); stabilizer: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agent: Magnesium stearate, Silicon dioxide; Pyridoxal 5-phosphate (vitamin B6).
