EcolifeFood Organic Pure Spirulina Powder is a natural protein source based on vitamins, minerals and high quality proteins. Spirulina is a green-blue algae, microscopic and spiral-shaped, hence its name. It is cultivated in freshwater lakes in tropical and subtropical areas. Its qualities include cleaning the blood, cell regeneration, improvement of the intestinal flora (inhibiting the formation of fungi and yeasts), as well as the cure of anemia due to its high amounts of iron.
Spirulina is the largest known source of bio-available protein (65%), containing 8 essential amino acids. Regarding its consumption, it is much easier to digest and assimilate than soy or any other protein of animal origin. Exceptionally rich in vitamin B-12 and iron, being ideal for anemia states.
