Anastatica Plant
Description
Rosa Jericó Plameca Plant is a whole plant of the Selaginellaceae Family. Its stems are closed on themselves forming a ball when the plant is dry and in contact with water, when its stems get wet, they expand leaving the plant completely open and green in the center. Its origin is from Texas, Mexico and Peru. It should not be confused with Anastatica hierochuntica (Brasicaceae Family) native to the Asian desert, which has the same property of opening in contact with water (it is also called Rose of Jericho).
How to take Anastatica Plant?
Put the Rose of Jericho in a bowl, deep plate or fish tank made of natural materials (clay, wood, glass, monterita) and within a few hours, you will have a flowering plant! It can be planted too, but it is not necessary.
Storage conditions
Store in a dark and cool place (max. 17 ° c).
