The teat is filled with milk, not air, our exclusive AirFree ™ system extracts air from the teat so baby swallows less air when drinking. This can help you reduce common eating problems, such as colic, reflux, and gas.

Clinical studies have shown that the Philips Avent bottle reduces colic and discomfort *. How? A valve on the teat prevents vacuum formation as baby drinks to maintain uninterrupted feeding. This can reduce colic, gas, regurgitation, and belching.

The AirFree ™ system can be easily mounted with any Philips Avent anti-colic or Classic + bottle. Cleaning is also very easy thanks to the wide neck of the bottle, and there are few parts to clean.

The shape of the teat allows for a secure latch and the ribbed texture helps prevent the teat from collapsing for a comfortable, uninterrupted feeding.

To get started, fill the bottle with milk, place the AirFree ™ piece over the rim, and screw it onto the teat. Tilt the bottle down once to fill the teat, and you're done. When using it, make sure the AirFree ™ system stays on top. The teat is filled with milk, even horizontally, to facilitate feeding vertically.

You can use the Philips Avent anti-colic bottle with or without the AirFree ™ system. The AirFree ™ system is compatible with our Philips Avent 125 ml, 260 ml and 330 ml Classic + or anti-colic bottles.

Various levels of nipple flow available
As your baby grows, you need to change the drink. Choose a nipple with adequate flow for your development. Philips Avent Anti-Colic and Classic + Bottles can be used with or without the AirFree ™ system, but should only be used with Philips Avent Anti-Colic or Classic + Teats.

Suitable range from breastfeeding to glass feeding. We have designed our range of baby bottles so that the tops and bottoms can be easily mixed and matched. So you can comfortably move from bottle to training bottle and sipper cup with fewer parts.
