Reduced glutathione
Description
Laboratoire Code's Reduced Glutathione is a food supplement with a formula specifically designed to match the one our bodies naturally produce. In addition to its own action, glutathione also helps maintain the activity of other oxidants such as vitamins C and E.
Properties and benefits of Reduced glutathione
"Reduced Glutathione" is a small water soluble peptide found in almost every cell in our body.
It combines three amino acids: L-glycine, L-cysteine and L-glutamine.
It exists in reduced form (GSH) hence its name of "reduced glutathione", or in oxidized form (GSSG).
The "reduced glutathione" by neutralizing free radicals becomes oxidized glutathione. When a high level of oxidized glutathione is detected in the body, this expresses a more or less intense, prolonged or repeated oxidative aggression.
Everyone will have understood that "reduced glutathione" is of major importance in helping the liver to fully perform its detoxification work.
