Description
Borage oil from Sura Vitasan has a very high content of two polyunsaturated essential fatty acids from the Omega-6 series.
Properties and benefits of Borraja's oil
Organic cultivation is obtained by a cold first pressure process without using solvents. Manufacturers guarantee a contribution of linoleic acid (LA) to Gamma linolenic acid (GLA), providing GLA per pearl, making it considered one of the most powerful products on the market (of all oils, borage is the richest in GLA).
GLA is a precursor to a particularly important type of prostaglandins called PGE1, which are involved in the regulation of the nervous, cardiovascular and reproductive systems, the state of the skin and that of other biological functions. GLA is useful in women who are in menopause, during the period and for anyone who wants to keep their skin in good condition.
How to take Borraja's oil?
It is recommended to take with meals.
Precautions
Consult a professional before taking this product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, if you are being treated with another medication (especially phenothiazine and tricyclic antidepressants) or if you have special medical conditions. Concomitant use with NSAIDs would theoretically diminish the effects of the oil, since these drugs interfere with the synthesis of prostaglandins.
Ingredient of animal origin: bovine gelatin (pearl).
