Description
Lamberts Primrose Oil (Evening Primrose) is one of the few natural sources of polyunsaturated fat called Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA). GLA is the precursor to a particularly important type of prostaglandins called PGE1, which are involved in the regulation of the nervous, cardiovascular and reproductive systems, the state of the skin and that of other biological functions.
Although the body can produce GLA from Linoleic Acid (the Omega 6 fatty acid present in vegetable oils), this process is sometimes slow or can be partially blocked.
Indication
(GLA) is the precursor to PGE1, a particularly important type of prostaglandins, which participate in the regulation of the nervous, cardiovascular and reproductive systems, the state of the skin and that of other biological functions.
The body can produce GLA from Linoleic Acid (the Omega 6 fatty acid found in vegetable oils), but this process is sometimes slow or can be partially blocked. The contribution of GLA through the diet, by avoiding the conversion process, is very useful for the body.
Intake mode
1-2 tablets a day with the main meals.
Precautions
Primrose Oil (Evening Primrose) should only be given to epileptics (temporal lobe) under medical supervision.
Storage conditions
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of the reach of young children.
