Indication
Borage Seed Oil is a source of high concentration of Gamma-Linolenic Acid (GLA), greater than in flax or fish oils, which makes this oil an excellent vegetable alternative for the consumption of this essential Fatty Acid Omega-6. GLA in the body can be synthesized from Linoleic Acid, although this process is slow and is sometimes blocked. It is a precursor of Type 1 Prostaglandins, which are involved in the regulation of the nervous and cardiovascular systems, in the state of the skin and in the female hormonal system.
