Description
A shrub with branched stems with deciduous leaves, the blueberry grows in dense bushes covering the siliceous and mulch-rich soils of the Alpine and Apennine forests. Unknown in ancient times, it was later used in popular medicine as an astringent and anti-diarrhea.
