Properties and benefits of Thyme Essential Oil
Very present in the Mediterranean habitat, it belongs to the wide Family of Labiadas or Lamináceas. It grows profusely in very dry terrain with high sun exposure. With pink flowers, it offers great resistance to bad weather.
Today it is used very successfully in egg-based meals. Like all herbs, its fresh flavor is unbeatable. It has an earthy flavor, with a touch of menthol, camphor and clove notes. It is a universal seasoning that flavors soups, vegetables, fish, poultry and meat (especially game), delicatessen products and fillings. It goes well with tomato-based sauces and is also very nice mixed with rosemary and bay leaf.
How to take Thyme Essential Oil?
It is recommended to always take diluted, 1-2 drops, in 250 g of food (juice, infusion, salad, ...). Maximum 1 time a day.
