Description
Éolésens Wild Carrot is an essential oil formulated from the seeds of the plant which has a sweet, fresh, heavy and slightly spicy aroma. This oil has interesting skin properties.
Properties and benefits of Wild carrot
Tall, aerial-looking plant, 20 cm to 1 m, with striated, hollow stems, with wide intervals between the nodes. Leaves alternate with petioles embracing the stem, their lamina is finely divided.
The very characteristic inflorescence of umbelliferae is an umbel, each ray of which bears a secondary umbellule. At the base are bracts cut into strips which constitute the involucre.
White or pinkish flowers with unequal and indented petals, the dark red central flower is attractive for insects but sterile.
How to take Wild carrot?
It is advisable to use in massage, 1 drop to dilute in 15 ml of vegetable oil.
For dry skin use 10 drops of Carrot essential oil + 5 drops of Geranium essential oil + 5 drops of Ylang-ylang essential oil in 1c. 1 teaspoon hazelnut vegetable oil + 1 tsp. sweet almond vegetable oil. Apply 2 drops of the mixture on the face morning and evening.
In case of burns: mix 2 drops of Carrot essential oil + 2 drops of lavender essential oil in 2 teaspoons of St. John's Wort vegetable oil.
Precautions
Keep out of reach of children. To avoid the risk of irritation, it is not recommended not to exceed the indicated dose. Not recommended for children under 6, pregnant and lactating women. Not suitable for people hypersensitive to essential oils. Do not apply to the mucous membranes and around the eyes.
Storage conditions
Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and light.
