It contains natural vitamin E (d-alpha-tocopherol) which in studies has been shown to be 1,3 times more bioavailable than the synthetic forms. Vitamin E is a fat-soluble vitamin found naturally in nuts, nut oils, olive oil, green leafy vegetables and avocados. It is an essential nutrient as it is the main antioxidant that helps protect cells from oxidative stress and free radical damage. Free radicals are formed when food is converted into energy or when we are exposed to environmental pollution and ultraviolet light from the sun. In addition, the body needs vitamin E to boost the immune system. A healthy, balanced diet should provide a sufficient amount of vitamin E, but unfortunately, most people's diets do not reach this level.
