Description
Marjoram Flowers and Leaves of the Herbarium of France, known as “with shells” because its leaves are rolled up on the edge in the manner of small shells, the marjoram has small very discreet white flowers, while the oregano proudly bears the hers. We tend to confuse them: in Latin the marjoram is called "large oregano", and oregano, "vulgar oregano" ... But the scent of marjoram, which comes to us from Southwest Asia, then that oregano is native to the Mediterranean basin, is more subtle.
Indication
Tradition says that a simple bouquet of marjoram used to make a pretty dowry. Known by the Greeks and the Latins, marjoram was also used by the Egyptians in their embalming rites.
Ingredients
Marjoram.
