Description
Agar-Agar flakes are the alternative to animal gelatin.
Indication
It is also pure soluble fiber and very satiating, it provides a wide range of vitamins (A, B1, B2, C and D), calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and some trace elements, and with hardly any calories. It's a vegetable jelly!
You will love it as a substitute for animal gelatin in your desserts, such as cakes, jams, flans, custards, creams, sorbets, juices, smoothies or chopped fruit.
Intake mode
Add it to the liquid or cream that you want to thicken and you only have to boil the mixture for about 8 minutes. To make hard consistency gelatin: 1 tablespoon (about 3 grams) per 1/2 liter of liquid.
It is also a neutral-flavoured thickener, perfect for savory pies, stews, purées and sauces.
