Description
Older dogs are best fed a high-protein diet to promote lean muscle mass, with limited calories to promote a healthy weight. With a hearty nutritious 38% protein and low glycemic carbohydrates limited to 19%, Orijen nourishes all senior dogs according to their evolutionary and biological needs.
Indication
Unmatched by any other senior dog food, Orijen's meats are 2/3rds of Fresh (refrigerated, no preservatives) or RAW (flash frozen, no preservatives), and include the top 10 meat ingredients.
1/3 poultry and fish are carefully dehydrated at 90°C from fresh chicken, turkey and fish to create a concentrated source of abundantly nutritious protein that fresh meats alone cannot provide.
Nutrient-rich WholePrey ratios of fresh meats, organs and cartilage plus fresh whole fish and eggs provide ingredients for virtually every nutrient your older dog needs.
Intake mode
It is recommended to use a standard 250 ml / 120 g measuring cup. Serve dry or slightly moistened. See your vet regularly.
Your puppy is unique and his feeding requirements will vary with his environment, age, and activity. This is why we suggest starting with the guides below and then monitoring your weight and adjusting your portions as needed. Feed twice a day and remember to always have fresh, clean water available.
Storage conditions
To help maintain freshness, we recommend sealing the bag tightly and storing it in a cool, dry place.
