Description

Gaultherie d'Eolesens is an essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the fresh leaves of the plant. This oil relieves cramps and muscle contractions.

Properties and benefits of Gaultherie

It is a creeping undershrub with a height of 15 cm, which is found in swamps, undergrowth with sandy and acidic terrain in China, North America. Its evergreen leaves are solitary, but grouped at the end of stiff stems. Its aromatic dark green foliage turns red in the fall. In North America, this plant was widely used by the Indians against fevers and pains, they chewed it like the coca leaf.

Wintergreen essential oil (gaultheria fragantissima) helps soothe and calm painful joints thanks to its natural methyl salicylate content. It is the key ingredient in sports care.

How to take Gaultherie?

It is advisable to use 1 drop in massage to dilute in 15 ml of vegetable oil.

Precautions

Not recommended for atmospheric diffusion.

In massage, it must be diluted imperatively for sensitive skin.

Keep out of the reach of children. To avoid the risk of irritation, it is advisable not to exceed the indicated dose. Not recommended for children under 6 years of age, pregnant and lactating women. Not suitable for people hypersensitive to essential oils. Do not apply to mucous membranes and around the eyes.

Storage conditions

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and light.
