Properties and benefits of Scots pine

Originally from Asia, this conifer, considered the most precious of the pines, loves mountains and sandy soils. The straight trunk, the reddish brown and scaly bark, the Scots pine can reach 20 to 25 meters. It features twigs with stout needles, twisted in pairs and yellow male flowers, then red females. The inflorescences are ovoid pine cones 7.5 cm long green and brown when ripe.

How to take Scots pine?
