The Rampal Latour soap factory has been the traditional specialist in real Marseille soap since 1828! Rampal Latour combines tradition and modernity out of passion for the profession of soap maker, the taste for a job well done and the determination to guarantee the best products. Backed by its bicentenary experience and proud of its authentic know-how, the brand innovates on a daily basis while meeting the highest quality requirements.

Even today, the tradition is respected and the soap is made according to the rules of the art: the exclusively vegetable oils are heated in the cauldron (olive, palm* and copra) then the addition of soda makes it possible to transform the oils liquids in thick mass. This is the start of the chemical process called saponification, which transforms oils into soap.

The artisanal Rampal Latour soap factory guarantees the quality of the extra pure paste of Marseille soaps, made using this so-called “Marseillais” manufacturing process in a cauldron.

The brand takes care to use generously dosed natural ingredients and in particular 100% vegetable oils (coconut, olive, grapeseed, palm*), or certified organic (olive, sweet almond, argan). All soaps are very rich in vegetable oils (between 1.2% and 3% oils while most brands claiming an oil put less than 0.1%), which reconstitute the hydro lipid film of the skin. In regular use, the skin is nourished, protected, hydrated.

The soaps are then enhanced with natural active ingredients for color (mineral powders, green clay), for their antiseptic and soothing properties (lavandin flowers and essential oils grown and distilled in Drôme Provençale, honey, etc.) or for their fragrance ( Grasse Rose, Lavender, Fig, Almond, Vine Peach, Lily of the Valley, Green Tea, etc.), selected from the best perfumers in France, particularly in Grasse.

Always keen to innovate and adapt to offer the best, the brand launched its organic range in 2008, Ecocert certified.
