Udon noodles consist of 100% wheat. They are delicious Japanese spaghetti that are made with traditional techniques in Japan. Delicious as a light lunch, with miso, shiitake, seaweed and (green) vegetables.
Indication
Udon noodles are made from 100% wheat. The production process for udon noodles is similar to the production process for soba. The difference between soba and udon is, therefore, in the type of grain. Udon noodles are also slightly flatter in shape. It's a delicious Japanese spaghetti that also works well in European cuisine. Delicious as a light lunch (in combination with miso soup, for example), in combination with seaweed and steamed (green) vegetables, and with shiitake or nuts.

It is recommended to boil a saucepan with plenty of water. Add the udon and cook for 10-12 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water.
