Description
Davert's White Basmati Rice is a food that has a slightly earthy flavor with hints of dried fruit, making basmati a favorite variety, not only in Asia, but also in Europe.
Indication
At the end of cooking, the grains are firm and don't stick together, making it ideal for stir-frying or as an accompaniment to curries and dhal. This rice is very versatile, it can practically be combined with any type of vegetables, meat or fish.
Curiosities:
This product is part of the "Khaddar" fair trade project. Basmati rice is grown biodynamically in the foothills of the Himalayas, and thanks to minimum contract prices, small Indian farmers receive better and fairer conditions. Davert has been in contact with this Fair Trade certified rice cooperative since 2001.
