Description
Casa Amella's organic calçots sauce is the first organic and gluten-free calçots sauce. It is made seasonally during the months of December to April. The tomatoes are washed and steamed. Then peeled and blanched with garlic. When everything is cooked, extra arbequina olive oil is added along with dried fruits from Tarragona, Penedès white wine vinegar, paprika, black pepper and a pinch of sea salt.
