Isotonic Powder

Description

Isotonic Powder from Etixx is a preparation for an isotonic drink rich in carbohydrates, in a 2/1 combination of sugars (glucose/fructose) + electrolytes. Ideal for all athletes who need to quickly restore fluid balance and replenish energy and electrolytes.

Indication

Etixx Isotonic Powder can be beneficial for all athletes, from explosive sports like sprinters to team sports and endurance athletes. It is also the ideal sports drink for training and competing in hot weather.

During exercise, our sweat helps us regulate body temperature. This fluid loss can be detrimental to performance and therefore athletes must compensate with their chosen beverage and replace lost fluids.

• The 2/1 formula (maltodextrin (formed by glucose) + fructose) makes it possible to consume higher amounts of carbohydrates.
• Sodium ensures that fluids are better retained in the body and stimulates thirst.
• The neutral pH prevents stomach upset.

Intake mode

It is recommended to dissolve 35 g of powder (2 tablespoons = 35 g of powder) in 500 ml of water. Drink at least 500 ml per hour of exertion. In warmer conditions and during intense exercise, it is recommended to drink 750 ml up to 1 l per hour.
