Powdered jelly is a product that is very often used in cooking, especially in the preparation of pastries.
Animal gelatine is obtained from the transformation of collagen in connective tissue and bone and cartilage by the effect of cooking. It is very nutritious, with 85-90% protein. Its great contribution in amino acids offers numerous benefits. It helps to keep the skin hydrated and firm, contributes to the functionality of bones, cartilage and joints. It prevents joint pain and is very useful in the prevention of osteoporosis.
It is recommended that for every spoonful of gelatin, five to seven spoonfuls of liquid should be added. It must be heated for a few seconds for the gelatine to dissolve, but under no circumstances should it be boiled.
