Description
Alemany Cinnamon Honey is part of the gourmet honey family. It combines two foods with great properties for the body and a very pleasant flavor: flower honey and cinnamon.
Cinnamon is the bark of the *Cinnamomum *verum tree and, although native to Sri Lanka, it is currently cultivated in several tropical countries. Its unique and unmistakable flavor and smell comes from the oily part of the tree.
It is one of the most used species in the world and is highly appreciated in cooking to give a special touch to dishes, desserts and drinks. In natural medicine, it is because of the therapeutic properties given to it: it is an antioxidant, controls blood sugar levels and is used as an antibacterial and to strengthen the immune system. It has a wide range of very important nutrients, among which it is rich in fiber, magnesium, calcium, iron and vitamin K.
Flower honey, the basis of our Honey with Cinnamon, is a multifloral honey produced by bees that have fed on pollen from different flowers. In natural medicine, it is used to improve digestive functions, relieve coughs and sore throats, as a source of proteins and antioxidants, and is highly valued for its antibacterial potential.
By mixing them, we enhance the benefits and make it easier to consume them daily. It helps improve the digestive process, prevents cardiovascular diseases, cures our joints, treats insomnia and exhaustion and increases libido, since cinnamon is considered a natural aphrodisiac.
The characteristic aroma of cinnamon and its sweet and slightly spicy flavor make our Honey with Cinnamon a sugar substitute for your favorite recipes and drinks.
