I needed a different thickener for my recipes. Good option once you get the hang of quantity.

Necesitaba un espesante diferente para mis recetas. Buena opción una vez que le coges el truco a la cantidad.

Description

Mimasa Agar Agar Powder is obtained mainly from the red algae Gelidium, collected in the Atlantic Ocean. It is a set of boiled and dried seaweed, delicious in the preparation of jellies with fruits, vegetables or legumes.

Indication

It contains 94.80% of soluble natural fiber, which supposes an amount superior to the rest of the foods of vegetal origin. Keep in mind that fiber-enriched foods (breads, cookies, breakfast cereals, bran, etc.) contain 6% to 45% fiber, and in dietary supplements, tablets and granules, this amount ranges from 20% and 80%.

Intake mode

To prepare a gelatin, it is recommended to dilute the powder in a cold liquid and boil 5 min. The amount of powder will depend on the desired texture.

For a fruit jelly, you can use apple juice and, once it has boiled for 5 minutes, it can be poured into a mold with chopped fresh fruit. It is served cold.

It can also be used as a thickener in sauces and creams, diluting it cold beforehand to avoid lumps.
