Description

Candy is the beginning of our long history. At the end of the 19th century, grandmother Mundeta made a candy with local honey and brought it to the nearest markets. 150 years later, in Alemany we continue to make naturally sweet honey candies.

Precisely in homage to grandmothers and the natural remedies they have used throughout history, one of our star products is born: Alemany lemon honey candies. And, according to tradition, honey combined with lemon helps soothe coughs and sore throats.

The lemon is a treasure among citrus fruits, a source of vitamin C that is born in Mediterranean areas characterized by their mild and humid winters and warm summers, although the lemon is a citrus that comes from Southeast Asia but was introduced in our country in the 13th century. It is the edible fruit of the lemon tree, characteristic for its acidic flavor and intense fragrance.
