The foutas and foutabag collections are made in South India, in Tamil Nadu, by a semi-traditional weaving unit with which Karawan develops its exclusive collections, in organic cotton. Mr Visu employs around thirty people under working conditions, wages and regulations in line with ILO standards. Traditional weaving looms rub shoulders with spinning. To support this family business, orders are 50% pre-funded by Karawan-authentic.
