It regulates lipids or fat in the blood (triglycerides), ischemic heart disease, high levels of cholesterol (LDL and VLDL) and triglycerides in the blood, high blood pressure and reduces platelet segregation, coagulation time, plasma fibrogen and atheromatous lesions.
