Pycnogénol, extract of Natesis Pine bark is a natural extract from the bark of maritime pine from the Landes de Gascogne. The bark of maritime pine from the Landes has antioxidant properties. Pycnogenol is titrated to 70% in procyanidins, active ingredients from the bioflavonoids family. Pycnogenol improves microcirculation, supports good blood circulation and protects the walls of blood vessels. The active ingredient Pycnogenol is capable of opposing the breakdown of collagen and increasing the production of hyaluronic acid.
How to take Pycnogenol, pine bark extract?
It is recommended to swallow with a little water at mealtimes, to adapt as needed.
Precautions
Cannot replace a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of young children. Keep away from heat and humidity. As a precaution, is not recommended for pregnant women during the first 3 months of their pregnancy. There is not enough information about taking Pycnogenol and breastfeeding: as a precaution, it is rather not recommended to use it during breastfeeding. Seek the advice of a healthcare professional if you are taking medication simultaneously. At high doses, the effects of Pycnogenol could be added to those of drugs, plants or food supplements whose action is hypotensive, hypoglycemic, antiplatelet or anticoagulant. Note, however, that no interaction between anticoagulants and Pycnogenol has been observed in clinical studies conducted by the producer.
