Properties and benefits of Evening Primrose Oil

It is an organically grown oil of the highest quality, obtained from evening primrose seeds. GLA and DGLA are direct precursors of anti-inflammatory prostaglandins (PGE-1) that participate in the regulation of cardiovascular health and inhibit cholesterol synthesis. They regulate the immune system by activating T lymphocytes and have been related to hormonal regulation in women.

GLA is useful in chronic inflammation processes such as rheumatoid arthritis, since it has been shown that GLA reduces arthritic pain and reduces the dose of adjuvant treatments. GLA is useful for women going through menopause, during their period, and for anyone who wants to keep their skin in good condition.
