Properties and benefits of Magnesium

Magnesium contributes and helps:

  • Body: to reduce tiredness and fatigue and normal energy metabolism, as well as the functioning of the muscles and normal protein synthesis.

Magnesium citrate is an organic form of this mineral, a water soluble organic salt. These organic forms, and the aminochelated ones, such as bisglycinate, are better absorbed than the water-insoluble inorganic forms, such as magnesium oxide and carbonate.

Magnesium bisglycinate is a stable aminochelated mineral complex that is absorbed differently: it is absorbed through the dipeptide channel in the intestine and does not compete with ionic metals that use the same transport sites in the small intestine. The chelate character reduces competition with other minerals such as calcium, and protects magnesium from the binding and precipitation of phosphates, phytates, and tannins from the diet.

How to take Magnesium?
