Properties and benefits of Geranium Essential Oil
Commonly called Geranium, it groups 422 species of annual, biennial and perennial plants frequently used for their attractive flowers and characteristic aroma. Common Geranium, or Pelargonium graveolens, and Pelargonium rosat are of great importance in the perfume industry. It is cultivated on a large scale. Its foliage is distilled by its smell. Pelargonium graveolens crops have a wide variety of scents, including rose, citrus, mint, coconut, and nutmeg, as well as various fruits. However, the most commercially important varieties are those with rose aromas.
Its wavy-edged leaves are more aromatic than the flowers. Its oil has a rose, earthy, sweet, intense and dry aroma.
How to take Geranium Essential Oil?
It is recommended to always take diluted, 1-2 drops, in 250 g of food (juice, infusion, salad, ...). Maximum 1 time a day.
