Devil's claw or devil 's claw is a shrub native to South Africa, which belongs to the Pedaliaceae family. The constituents that are considered responsible for the activity of the root of the devil's claw are the heterosidic iridoids (harpagosides). The dry extract must contain at least 1.2% harpagosides. Since the 50s of the last century it has been used therapeutically in Europe, especially in Germany and France.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children. Not recommended in hypersensitivity to salicylates, peptic ulcer and gastritis, Not recommended in pregnancy, lactation and children. Consult your doctor in cases of coagulation and respiratory pathologies. Interaction with anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, barbiturates and carbonic anhydrase inhibitors.
