Ylang-ylang from Éolésens is an essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the flowers of the plant. This oil calls for rest and relaxation and has a floral, warm and jasmine, suave aroma. Ideal to use it as a food supplement.

Properties and benefits of Ylang ylang

Originally from the Philippine archipelago and now cultivated in Asia and Africa, this gnarled tree can reach 20 m in height. Its shiny leaves are persistent and its small yellow flowers pleasantly scented.

The natives used to macerate the flower in coconut oil to coat their body and hair. Its essential oil is widely used in cosmetics and perfumery.

Ylang-ylang essential oil helps soothe states of stress and restlessness. It helps to provide strength and shine for hair care.

How to take Ylang ylang?

It is advisable to take 1 drop once a day, 4 consecutive days maximum to renew if necessary. To be incorporated into culinary preparations. Mix in honey and dilute in a hot drink.

Also use in massage or anointing on the solar plexus, along the spine, on the neck, the temples (watch out for the eyes!), on the soles of the feet. To be diluted slightly in vegetable oil. 10 drops of essential oil for 1 teaspoon of jojoba, sweet almond or other vegetable oil.

Precautions

Keep out of the reach of children. It is not recommended to exceed the daily indicated dose. Not recommended for children under 6, pregnant and lactating women. Not suitable for people hypersensitive to essential oils. Risk of skin irritation in its purest form.

Storage conditions

Store in a cool, dry place away from heat and light.
