This food supplement is a fungus that grows on rice and causes its fermentation. The yeast then gives it this characteristic red colour. This fermentation leads to the production of monacolin K.
How to take Red Rice Yeast?
A maximum of 1 capsule per day is recommended.
Precautions
Reserved for adults from 18 to 70 years old. Seek medical advice and regular medical attention during the program. Do not use during pregnancy and lactation. It is not recommended in case of simultaneous use of drugs, especially in case of treatment that influences the levels of lipids and lipoproteins (statins, fibrates, for example). Not recommended in case of intense physical activity, in case of excessive consumption of grapefruit (fruit or juice) and alcohol. It is not recommended for kidney or liver disease, hypersensitivity to statins, muscle pathology, untreated hypothyroidism, genetic polymorphisms, or abnormally high levels of transaminases.
