Description
Lamberts Siberian Ginseng is used to combat stress and fatigue, but it is more common to use it as a preventive agent rather than as a product for the recovery of these states.
Properties and benefits of Siberian Ginseng
Unlike Panax ginseng, Siberian ginseng does not contain ginsenosides and is therefore considered a "softer" preparation.
The key components of Siberian ginseng are a broad group of active compounds called eleuterosides. Seven main eleuterosides have been identified and most of the studies focus on eleuterosides B and E, which have a fundamental role in immune function.
These substances are often used as markers during the standardization process. At Lamberts we are in favor of standardized extracts, since the extraction and concentration procedures guarantee that the plant product is much more powerful than those products based on the entire pulverized plant, where nothing is done to concentrate the active compounds. In this Lamberts product we use an extract that guarantees the level of these important compounds.
