The essential oil of maranqui thyme (Thymus satureioidesde) Pranarom native to North Africa, grows on stony and rather dry soils. Thyme is an example of a plant species that illustrates the notion of chemotype. There are several chemical categories of thyme in which the chemical composition of the essential oil varies depending on the biotype in which it evolves. The factors that influence the composition and the therapeutic activity are, among others, the sun, the altitude, the nature of the soil and the purity of the air.

Properties and benefits of Moroccan Thyme Essential Oil

  • Breathing

How to apply Moroccan Thyme Essential Oil?

Cutaneous use : Always dilute: 3 drops of this AEQT + 5 drops of hazelnut vegetable oil for example.

In massage: 2 drops AEQT Moroccan Thyme + 2 drops AEQT Wintergreen + 10 drops of AV of Apricot Nut in case of stiffness, contracted muscles, tired and for the flexibility of the joints.

Precautions

Harmful if swallowed. May be fatal if swallowed and enters airways. Causes severe skin burns and eye damage. May produce an alergic reaction on the skin. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not apply pure on the skin. Do not eat.

In case of skin contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water.

In case of contact with eyes: Rinse carefully with water for several minutes. Immediately call a poison control center or a health professional. Do not induce vomiting. See brochure
